The mountain and the squirrel
পর্বত আর কাঠবিড়ালির
Had a quarrel;
হল এক ঝগড়া;
And the former called the latter ‘Little Prig’;
পর্বত কাঠবিড়ালিকে বলল— ‘তুচ্ছ ছোট প্রাণী’;
Bun replied,
তখন বান (কাঠবিড়ালি) বলল,
‘You are doubtless very big;
‘তুমি নিঃসন্দেহে খুবই বড়;
But all sorts of things and weather
কিন্তু নানা রকম জিনিস আর আবহাওয়া
Must be taken in together,
