Kolkata, Oct 12 2021: At about half-past eleven in the morning today a terrible accident took place on Gariahat Road at the Golpark end of the Gariahat flyover. There was a sudden break failure of a private bus. The driver was helpless and the bus rushed and collided with a truck. A huge crowd gathered in no time. The road was also blocked by the local people. Among the passengers, five were injured including a child and a woman. The inhured were sent to AMRI Hospital. They were released after giving first aid. Traffic was disrupted for almost an hour. The police came after sometime and normalcy was restored.
