Being out on the open sea is like being in a big playground of waves. The boat rocks up and down, like a gentle dance with the water. I feel a bit scared when the waves get big, but it’s also super exciting! The sea smells salty, and seagulls fly above, adding to the cool adventure. The waves make me feel both tiny and amazed. It’s like a big, watery rollercoaster, and even though I’m a bit scared, the excitement makes it a big, fun journey!

The Wind Cap Activity 10 (b)

Suppose you had wished to perform on stage for a long time. On the occasion of your school’s annual function, you finally got a chance to do so. Write a letter to your friend describing how you felt when your wish was fulfilled.

Dear Raj,

I hope this letter finds you well. Something incredibly exciting happened recently, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you. You know how I’ve always dreamt of performing on stage, right? Well, the dream finally came true during our school’s annual function!

The moment I found out that I would be performing, a mix of nervousness and excitement bubbled up inside me. Rehearsals were intense, but each practice session brought me closer to conquering my stage jitters. When the day finally arrived, the stage lights felt like a spotlight on my dreams. As I stepped onto the stage, a surge of emotions hit me – a bit of nervousness, a lot of excitement, and a pinch of disbelief that I was actually living my dream.

The applause from the audience was like music to my ears, and the thrill of performing stayed with me long after I left the stage. It was an incredible experience, and I couldn’t help but think of you and wish you were there to share in the excitement. I can’t wait for you to see the video, and we’ll have so much to catch up on when we meet.

I hope all is well with you, and I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Warm regards,

Arpan
